For my birthday this year, I have been eagerly anticipating a visit to an Italian restaurant located in the heart of Amsterdam. My husband dined at this restaurant before and was so impressed by the experience. As someone who is notoriously picky about his food, his endorsement of this restaurant certainly caught my attention. Therefore, I decided to celebrate my special day there.

The name of the restaurant is Incanto, and despite being situated in the bustling city center, it is tucked away on the first to third floors of a old building in Muntplein area. Because the restaurant is located upstairs, providing lovely views of the surrounding streets and canals, making it an ideal destination for a romantic evening or celebratory dinner.

As we were there, I was impressed by the warm and inviting ambiance of the space. Soft lighting and cozy decor contributed to an intimate and relaxed atmosphere, making it the perfect destination for a special occasion or romantic evening out.

If you are in search of delicious Italian cuisine that won’t break the bank, look no further than this hidden gem. Offering a modern twist on classic dishes, this restaurant consistently delivers on flavor, presentation, and value.

Some standout dishes include the indulgent grilled octopus with potato, beef tenderloin with foie gras, and perfectly cooked spaghetti cacio e Pepe – not to mention the irresistible selection of desserts. Each dish is beautifully presented and expertly prepared, showcasing the chef’s skill and creativity.

However, it’s not just the food that impresses – the level of service we received from the staff was equally impressive. From the moment we arrived, they were attentive and welcoming, ensuring that every aspect of our dining experience was enjoyable and memorable. Their attention to detail and genuine desire to make us feel well taken care of did not go unnoticed and added to the overall positive impression we had of the restaurant. The manager/sommelier is especially knowledgeable and attentive.

All and all, it was a hit for me. The combination of inviting ambiance and excellent service made for a truly exceptional dining experience at this establishment.
